The event will be held at The Westin Bayshore Hotel, Vancouver.

Why worry about getting home when you can stay at the Westin Bayshore Hotel? Finnegan Ball has secured a special rate of $319/night for the night of November 2, 2024. Book early to secure this rate, there are only a limited number of rooms available.

Please note that all ticket purchases for Finnegan Ball are final. Our volunteer organizers are producing the event based on ticket sales. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

Table assignments for Finnegan Ball will be made based on the preferences provided at the time of ticket purchase. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferences; however, table placements are subject to availability and may not be guaranteed.

The only way to guarantee table assignments is to purchase a Table of 10 [link].

Finnegan Ball is a formal event. This year’s theme, Venetian masquerade, is all about opulence and mystery. Go for a dramatic and sophisticated look that reflects the grandeur of the Venetian era. Masquerade Masks are encouraged.

Early bird tickets are $265 per ticket or $2,650 for a table of 10, which are available until 11:59pm on September 30th, 2024.  Regular priced tickets are $295 per ticket or $2950 for a table of 10 available as of October 1, 2024.

This year’s theme is a Venetian Masquerade Ball.

The welcome reception begins at 5:30pm. Dinner seating will begin at 7:00pm. This year we have extended the end of the event to 2:00am.

Please note that all ticket purchases for the 2024 Finnegan Ball are final and non-refundable. However tickets are transferrable by contacting fbtickets@vancouvercollege.ca with the changes to the attendee information. Meal selections can only be changed up until 9:00am on October 28th, 2024.

Our event is a paperless ticket event. You will receive an email to confirm your purchase. On the night of the event, upon check-in please provide your name at the entrance for entry into the event.

During the purchasing of the ticket, please note what grade you son(s) is/are in, and if you have any seating requests. Our team will do our best to accommodate, however seating requests are not guaranteed. In terms of table location within the venue, our team typically assigns the sponsors, administration and VIPs near the front of the room and then all other tables are grouped by grades.

Your Finnegan Ball ticket includes entrance to the ball, a welcome drink (only available during the reception), a 4-course gourmet dinner, assigned seating, dinner wine, entertainment and dancing after dinner. Additional beverages during the reception, dinner (non-wine) and after dinner are at the expense of the guest, as well as any raffles/silent auction/live auction purchases and Fund-a-Need donations.

We aim to be a cashless event. Credit card and debit card payments will be accepted during the event.
